If you know me by now (if you’re new – then hello) then you know I love a couple of key things when it comes to skincare. One is gel formulas and textures. The other is anything that makes beauty routines nice and easy. So a micellar water ticks that box. The idea of combining these two into one quick and easy to use product immediately caught my eye. This is the new La Roche Posay Make Up Remover Micellar Water Gel – a contender for longest product name ever but actually a lovely simple product to use.
The way I would describe this water gel cleanser is that it’s got all the goodness of a normal micellar but with the added benefit that the gel texture makes it feel a little like you’re ‘really washing’ your face. Rather than almost a bit like toning as it can feel with a normal micellar water. I do love a regular micellar water, but there’s something about it that somehow feels like it’s not quite the same as a face wash – old habits of foaming cleansers die hard and all that. Not that the micellar gel foams, but it’s one I use with water to rinse and that step alone makes it feel like a ‘proper’ face wash.
I’m actually using another La Roche Posay product on a regular basis too at the moment so will be posting about that soon no doubt. But for now, it’s a simple but effective thumbs up for La Roche Posay Make-Up Remover Micellar Water Gel. Phew, quite a mouthful.

La Roche-Posay is one of my favourite, skincare brands of all time and I usually love everything I try from them. I have been using Bioderma to remove makeup, as it’s so gentle, but maybe I’ll give this a try 🙂

Will have to check this out. Am loving their spray toner mist thing right now, its worked wonders for my skin. So this may have to be a new little investment.

I always see this brand around and have yet to try their line (I’ve only ever tried their thermal water spray). I always wanted to get my hands on serozinc, but I’ve never seen it stateside! This product also looks interesting, I’ll probably check it out since I am in the market for a new cleanser.
That sounds interesting. I like micellar water and I guess gel one would be quite good too
