One of the best dark polishes I have found it PURE in ‘port royale’, a gorgeous deep dark burgundy shade that has more than a hint of goth to it. I love it!
Top tips for dark nails:
1. Don’t paint right to the edges, as dark colours will stain cuticles.
2. ALWAYS use a base coat, dark colours will also stain nails.
3. Keep nails short, to avoid the scary dominatrix/vamp look and keep the look modern.
4. Paint 2-3 coats (letting nails dry in between) to make sure the colour is dark and even and lasts.
5. A top coat will give nails a gloss, make the dark shade look really ‘polished’ and last longer.
