Dr Bronners magic liquid soap review

Soap- a beauty basic, but rarely a luxury. Personally I am not a huge fan of soap, rarely finding one that manages to leave skin both clean, and soft. Having tried and failed in the past, and usually being left with tight, dry skin in the process I am usually quite reluctant to try new soaps but with the promise of magic from Dr. Bronners Magic Soap I just couldn’t resist giving it a go.
Dr. Bronners is a brand that is well established in America (The No 1 natural soap brand in the US and apparently loved by many a Hollywood celeb including Sandra Bullock, and Drew Barrymore). This is not just a traditional soap, it is also available in a multi-functional liquid form, certified Fair Trade and organic and in a range of scents- including citrus orange, almond, peppermint, eucalyptus, rose, baby mild, lavender and tea tree.

Having tried both the almond liquid soap and the citrus orange solid soap my favorite scent of the two is the citrus and texture is the liquid. Dr. Bronners liquid soap claims to have a whopping 18 uses… including helping to heal cuts and bruises, skin conditions like acne, dermatitis and psoriasis. Plus washing body and hair, fruit and vegetables, using as a mouth wash, cleaning surfaces and even floors! Pretty impressive list, but personally I will stick to using it on my face and hands!

The liquid soap is available in a handy 118ml (£2.45) or 236 ml (£4.99) from nationwide from leading health shops including Fresh & Wild, Planet Organic and Whole Foods.
