The Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick range seems to have create a bit of a buzz across the beauty blogging world- have seen lots of posts and tweets about the range – so of course I bucked to the peer pressure and had to go and see what all the fuss was about. So last week I popped out at lunch and picked up one for myself (along with a Boots meal deal- yum).
The colour I chose was number 112 ‘Ambre Rose’. I think this has been a pretty popular colour as have seen a few tweets and blogs about it. I can see why, it is a really pretty, pale, peachy-pink with a golden shimmer. I don’t regularly wear lipstick, tend to prefer either balm, gloss or bare lips but I do like pale shades like Ambre Rose. As much as I love this colour, I still wear it with a slick of lip balm as a base as I find this helps keep the colour soft and smooth and lips from getting dry.
