Korres Cherry Lipgloss: Review

I’ve never quite been the biggest fan of lip products (although I seem to have a pretty excessive collection of lip gloss and lipstick for someone who rarely wears it…) I just find it to be too high maintenance for my liking. To make lippie look half decent, it needs to be constantly re-applied through the day and to be honest – sometimes I just can’t be that bothered.

But, as I feel a tad like a fraudster beauty junkie by shunning lipstick, I have been trying to make it more of a feature in my make-up routine as it really does polish off a look. Taking it one step at a time, I’m starting with gloss and have found one that I love: Korres Cherry Lip Gloss (in shade 23 light purple).

Korres Cherry Lip Gloss is really easy to wear, and I love this shade – a flattering pale pink that is pale, but still healthy looking that doesn’t fade too quickly, but when it does it doesn’t look obvious. In the tube, the gloss looks like it has some silver shimmer but on the lips it just looks glossy not glittery. Plus, as it’s packed with cherry oil and vitamin E, it keeps lips wonderfully moisturised. One of my pet peeves with lip products is when they are too drying – not the case with this gloss, one of the reasons why I like it.

I like this gloss enough to carry it with me every day. I find pale gloss colours are alot easier to maintain through the day – they don’t need to be reapplied as often as darker colours.

So, have you tried Korres Cherry Lip Gloss? What’s your favorite gloss of all time (brand and shade!)

i’m with you, i’m too lazy sometimes to wear more than 1 product on my lips. i mostly leave that for performances or special occasions. but for everyday, i just wear mac tinted lip conditioner. its like a lip tint, lip balm, and a hint of gloss all in one product.

as for lip gloss, i’m really loving mac’s plushglass in big baby (soft peach w/ pink & white pearl according to the website). it smells lovely and is the perfect neutral colour for me.

I prefer lipstick to lipgloss generally, I’d prefer to touch it up rather than be all sticky and gloopy. I have just picked up a couple of the new Revlon lipglosses in Pink Pop and Coral Reef, they’re not gloopy and there’s enough pigment to make them bothering with. Not bad for £6.49!
