Yet again I have been mixing up my skin care by changing my moisturisers (I have been using mostly Dermalogica for the past few months pretty consistently) and I’m currently using Skin Doctors Supermoist SPF30 (for daytime) and No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Night.
I’m really enjoying using both of these and have had no adverse reactions at all. Both feel lovely to apply and absorb easily and leave my skin quenched.
The Skin Doctors Supermoist leaves my skin mositurised but not greasy – which is my ultimate problem when it comes to finding a daytime moisturiser that has SPF but doesn’t make my skin greasy. I don’t know why but it’s taken me AGES to dig this moisturiser out of the ‘to test’ pile – I’ve probably had it sitting around for close to a year (bad beauty blogger) but finally I did and I’m loving it. It’s made me very curious to try more from the Skin Doctors Range – they seem to do a good range of products that aren’t flashy, but do the job. Just my sort of thing. If you have tried anything from the range that is worth checking out, let me know!?
The No7 Protect and Perfect Intense is another one that I normally pass my mum’s way, but I wanted something a bit more hardcore for winter so tried it out and love it. It is heavier (as a night cream usually is) but absorbs easily and has a very distinct fragrance that just makes me think of Boots Soltan… maybe just me though! I love how pampered my skin feels in the morning after using this. I would say that this is quite a heavy duty moisturiser, but I love it. It really helped this past week when I had a cold and my nose did that charming winter crusty thing. Two nights of this cream and it had gone. Plus I like the idea it’s fighting lines as I sleep too…
