Normally using facial spritzers seems like far more of a Summer thing to do, but at the moment I’m loving them. I think because of the recent cold snap, my skin is feeling a bit sorry for itself and needs a bit of extra TLC. I like the soothing, refreshing properties of the sprays – they give the skin a moisture boost without needing to resort to using heavy duty moisturisers.
Described as “Inspired by the “elixir of youth” used by Queen Isabelle of Hungary, this treatment smoothes features, tightens pores and gives the complexion a burst of radiance.”
It doesn’t result in anything life changing – but it’s a nice addition to the skincare routine. I’m not sure I have noticed any smoothing or tightening but would pretty much agree with the ‘burst of radiance’ thing, my skin definitely feels perkier after a spray. It’s really nice as a post-shower, pre-moisturiser spray – I have no idea if that’s the best way to use it or not – but that’s what I’ve been doing and really like it. It can also be used as a midday pick me up over make-up.
I’ve had the 30ml spray for about a month and have been using it at least daily and have used up about half of the bottle. The 30ml version costs around £8/9 (100ml is around £24) so I think decent value.
