Tend Skin: hair removal must have

If waxing or shaving are your preferred method of hair removal, for any part of your body, then it’s likely that at some point you will be prone to the odd ingrown hair, shaving rash or bumps. I’ve tried loads of things to deal with/prevent these – from simple exfoliation to specialist products designed for this. The various products have had various success, some have been great, some have stung to the point where I don’t want to use them, others have been awkward to use.

Tend Skin though is (so far!) the ideal product, in my opinion. The formula works, doesn’t sting (although does advise not to use on broken skin) and is easy to apply thanks to the roller ball applicator.

Described as “For men and women; this revolutionary product improves the appearance of razor rashes and bumps, clearing up/preventing ingrown hairs, whether from shaving, waxing, or electrolysis. For women it’s fantastic on bikini lines, underarms, legs and faces. For men, use it on the face, back of head and neck. A mild, exfoliating solution to prevent redness and rashes – it leaves your skin smooth and clear.”

The roller ball applicator can be unscrewed and removed if you want to apply to your face you could remove it and apply using a cotton pad. Plus you can buy bottles to refill the roller ball, making it cheaper to repurchase.

This was recommended to me when I had my treatment at Strip Soho so have to say thank you for introducing me to this fabulous product!

The roller ball applicator version of this cost me £16 but the larger refill bottles cost £11.60 from HQhair.com (can use the product from the refill bottles if you’re not fussed about the roller ball thing).

p.s. apparently this is a bit of a cult product… but I only heard about it for the first time recently! Trust me to be late on the old bandwagon!!

There’s a homemade recipe of this on MUA which works just as good and only costs a fraction of the price!
