I was having a bit of a tidy/sort through my collection of beauty bits at the weekend and decided to colour co-ordinate my nail polish. Yep, that’s exactly how cool I am.
Whilst I was doing that I also got to thinking about which are my favourites… and so here they are. My top 10 nail colours of the moment. I add the small caveat ‘of the moment’ because I’m fickle and might change my mind! Plus the ones I was picking from doesn’t include colours I haven’t tried yet, and there could be some potential favourites in there.
I have a fair few colours, so it wasn’t all that easy to pick the 10. A few of them just jumped out and I knew they would have to be favourites but a few others were harder to pick.
|Top Row L-R: Berry ice cream, Surreal Violet, Metro Chic, Under My Trench Coat, Mash.
Bottom Row L-R: Madison Avenue, Limited Addiction, Fuchsia Hype, How Cute Is That, For Audrey.

Barry M ‘Berry Ice Cream’: I love lilac nail polish and had a fair few to pick from (purples & greiges are my weakness) but this stood out as a favourite – it’s bright and creamy and easy to apply.
Estee Lauder ‘Surreal Violet’*: This made the top ten as it’s a murky purple AND has a gorgeous copper shimmer running through it that gives it something special.
Sephora OPI ‘Metro Chic’: This one had to be on the list, on of the first ‘blogger crazes’ that I jumped on. Ordered from ebay and I love it. My ideal colour if I don’t know what colour to paint my nails – it will be this.
Sephora OPI ‘Under My Trench Coat’: My favourite neutral that manages to look polished and subtle but not boring.
NARS ‘Mash’*: Dark metallic khaki green, I can’t decide what exactly it is about this colour that I like so much but it was one of the ones that jumped out at me and I knew it was in my top 10.

NYC Colour ‘Madison Avenue’: A classic red, it was a tough choice between this and Revlon Red, which is another favourite of mine. But this one won out simply because it applies & dries super quick.
Essie ‘Limited Addiction’: I also knew I wanted to include a deep red, another classic that I needed in there as it instantly looks polished but not boring.
Bourjois ‘Fuchsia Hype’*: Bright pink for toe nails are a go-to, so I had to pick one for the 10. This one is bright and creamy, applies like a dream and dries really glossy without needing a top coat.
Sephora OPI ‘How Cute Is That’: I needed a coral in there too, so went for this one with it’s gorgeous shimmer I love it.
China Glaze ‘For Audrey’: This is a perfect ‘Tiffany Turquoise’ and looks lovely on fingers or toes. I actually really like it with the Sephora OPI ‘How Cute Is That’.
So what do you think of my top 10? I’d love to see what others would have as their top 10 – so comment below or post links to your blog post if you do one too.
Colours marked with a * were provide by PR. All others bought by me.
