Topshop Sandstorm Collection: Perpetual Liquid Liner and Daze Lip Cream

This will probably sound silly, but back when the Topshop make-up collection launched (a whole year ago as of the 5th May, believe it or not) I really didn’t want to be impressed. I expected for the range to be all pretty-packaging, but average quality. Annoyingly though, everything I have tried to date has managed to be both pretty packaging and good quality.

These two products – a slightly shimmering, charcoal, eye liner called ‘perpetual’ and creamy lip colour called ‘daze’ are both amazingly pigmented, easy to apply and feel great to wear.

The liner has a slight shimmer and that little bit more interesting than the standard black.

Natural Light

The ‘daze’ creamy lip colour is thicker more pigmented than a gloss but lighter and creamier than a lipstick. The pink is a bit Barbie pink, with blue undertones but a tiny bit more subtle and wearable.

The liner is a definite new love of mine – lasts really well, so easy to apply and looks as good for day as it does for night. Love it!

The Sandstorm Collection is online and in-store at Topshop now and is Limited Edition, so if these look like your sort of thing then get on it now! The liner is £8 and the lip cream is £7.50.

I have a couple more bits from the Sandstorm Collection that I still need to review too, so more coming soon!!
