I love having scents that are attached to memories, and these two are ones that will remind me of Summer’11 from now on… both variations on the same fragrance, but still very different.
These fragrances are…Stella McCartney The Print Collection & Sheer Stella
Before I get onto the scent, I have to mention the gorgeous bottles! The larger sized sheer bottle has transparent purple flowers and is so pretty, and the smaller bottle of Stella (the ‘Print Collection’ version) comes in a purse-sized compact spray. The other designs in the collection are very pretty too, but the white flower print is my favourite.
|Stella The Print Collection: Which is your favourite?|
Stella The Print Collection is the same fragrance, as the original Stella – but housed in a beautiful print from Stella’s Spring/Summer 2011 catwalk collection. The fragrance is described as ‘contrasting fragility and strength’ – it has the traditionally feminine notes of rose combined with peony and mandarin. On first spritz it’s very floral, but it dries down to something a bit more woody and sexy.
Sheer Stella is a lighter, fresher version of the original rose based fragrance. It’s fresher and airier than the original. Basically, I love Sheer Stella for summer days (and beyond) and Stella for night time – every time I spray them on I am flown back on holiday in my head.
Do you have a fragrance that reminds you of holidays??
