Jo Malone Brilliant Blossoms

In typical style, the weather isn’t quite living up to the Jo Malone Spring fantasy of dappled sunshine and colourful blossoms on every tree. But hey, that’s the joy of a lovely fragrance where you can spritz on a little something to take your imagination somewhere the weather might not let you. The new Jo Malone Brilliant Blossoms collection brings together some of their classic blossom launches of past years with some new scents – all combined in a pastel rainbow of colourful packaging. That yes, does make me want every single product so I can just line them up and make them look pretty.

The biggest new launch of the Jo Malone Brilliant Blossoms collection is the new scent Frangipani Flower and it’s a Spring-Summer mix in a bottle. Soft, floral and sweet but not sickly so. It’s a beauty, undeniably more feminine and definitely a floral first scent. But it has base notes of Sandalwood that takes it down a notch and softens the whole thing.

The bottle is a yellow burst of sunshine with a matte yellow lid. It sits nicely alongside the fragrances that this new one layers well with like the classic (and one of the fragrances I layered for my wedding day) Orange Blossom and Silk Blossom in orange and pink bottles. There’s also a gorgeous Orange Blossom reed diffuser, Star Magnolia Cologne and Silk Blossom Candle. The Star Magnolia and Orange Blossom scents are also both available in a hair mist too. The Orange Blossom hair mis would be a lovely way to layer the fragrance for a wedding… darn it, if I could go back and do it over!

The whole collection is limited and available now. My top picks would be the new Frangipani Cologne and anything Orange Blossom (I’m very tempted by the reed diffuser for our house).

Jo Malone Brilliant Blossoms Collection Frangipani Flower is available in 30ml or 100ml sizes (from £49) from John Lewis
