As my daughter’s wardrobe and bedroom will prove to you, I am a sucker for all things rainbow. So when I spotted the gorgeously colourful Elemis Olivia Rubin collaboration when I was having a casual browse of Look Fantastic I was a little bit (very excited). In case you don’t know, Olivia Rubin is the queen of the rainbow. I have long lusted after her dresses and designs (we’re talking sequin AND rainbow combined) as no matter how much I want to be the cool girl in denim and grey, my heart is captured by colour. So what happens when you combine rainbow plus a selection of the best-of Elemis in mini sized? A pretty damn fabulous collaboration, that’s what! Let’s take a look at the Elemis Olivia Rubin collaboration.
The collaboration is all about three core product sets. Two larger ones, for men and for women and another smaller ‘gift with purchase’ option that is FREE if you spend over £80. I’m going to take you through what’s in each kit with a shout out for my favourites in there with all the details on where you can buy below.

The kit for women is all about the pastel rainbow makeup bag. Which is a genuinely great size for travel, not just a piddly small one you can’t fit anything in. The colours are fab but my only niggle is that the material it’s made of does smell a little iffy… I’ve had the bag on my desk for a few days and I’ve either gone nose blind or it’s softened now it’s been open for a bit. But on first opening, the smell did catch my attention for the wrong reasons… In the bag you will find a few absolute gems:
One of the big things that struck me about the contents was that they’re not the ‘typical’ ones you might to expect in a package offer like this. This is a really positive thing. They’re a mix of newer products and ones that do feel like they’re travel/Summer relevant. You could easily make these products the solid foundation of a travel bag for holiday (overlooking the fact holidays are on hold as I type this…).
My favourite product in this set has to be the Elemis Superfood Kefir-Tea Mist – I love it and it’s sat within reach on my desk since I opened it. A great mist that really evenly distributes product rather than feeling like you’re squirting yourself in the face too aggressively. Plus it smells delicious.

Also with the signature rainbow but in a slightly smaller size and still with a selection of six products inside (including two of my all time favourite Elemis products…
The two favourites for me are the Cleansing Balm (if you haven’t tried yet, you’re missing out) and the gel eye masks. SO good. Amazing for tired or dehydrated eyes, of which I tend to have both.
All in all the Elemis Olivia Rubin Collaboration is just a whole lot of ice cream coloured striped rainbow colourful fun. What better time to have a dose of colourful fun in our lives than now?

I bought the bigger set too, and also encountered the off-putting smell from the bag, Did you come across any marks or patches under the lining inside the bag?
I didn’t and do find the funny scent has vanished (or at least I’ve gone nose blind with it!)
