Killer Colours

Here’s a little look at this rather special little range of nail colours – Killer Colours is a total high-fashion concept, with all colours in the range being limited edition and the collection only including a very small number of shades – just five. Two of which you can see below.

I recently tried the shade ‘Gunmetal’ (the shimmering black on the right) and WOW. These polishes are good quality. I can be a tad cynical about new nail colour ranges – generally if I don’t really know the range I’m inclined not to expect much, but this range has proved me wrong.

Two coats of this and the colour was perfectly opaque – the pigment is seriously impressive. The colour also lasted really well too – no chipping at all for three days and even then, just a bit of tip wear.
So moral of the story – don’t judge a polish just by not knowing the brand. These are fab. Also, I’m not a sucker for celeb endorsements but Millie Mackintosh (current girl crush) is the number 1 fan of the brand.
The other colour in the picture is a pretty cool toned pink called ‘Twisted Silk’ – I haven’t tried this yet (I’ve been a sucker for darker colours recently) but when I do I’ll share another NOTD.
More info on Killer Colours on the Killer Colour Website The colours are £9 each.

Was the line designed by our fellow blogger Viola from Killer Colours (rodeo.net/killercolours/)? If so, well done!

No, they just stole her name. She posted a video about it a while ago.

Those two colours are basically at opposite ends of the colour spectrum but still equally gorgeous. I’m a sucker for dark metallic polishes, especially in autumn. I’m wearing OPI’s Suzi Skis In The Pyrenees at the moment and it’s similar to Gunmetal but with slightly less shimmer and its more of a dark blue/grey. I might try Killer Colour out now.
