Givenchy Le Prisme Visage ‘Acoustic Pastel’

Sometimes there are just some amazing beauty products that look so gorgeous that they’re just lust worthy. Givenchy is a brand that delivers product after product that hits the spot on the lust-meter – seriously, so pretty.

This little Le Prisme face powder takes a normally fairly standard product and makes it gorgeous and the sort of product you want to show off.

The combination of complexion flattering prisms of colour combine amazingly to create a nice healthy glow – that’s more subtle than a blusher but delivery a nice little wash of sheer colour, really perking up the skin.
I think this product is absolutely stunning – I have basically weaned myself off of face powder over the past year and this has changed that. I used to use powder daily to combat shine for years but really didn’t love the effect that built up – looking dull and chalky. But this powder doesn’t have this effect, it does tackle shine but leaves a velvet finish that’s anything but chalky.
It definitely helps that the little applicator brush (stored in a little drawer under the palette) makes application easy – the mirror helps too – and less caked on than the typical sponge.
So, in case you didn’t guess… I adore this. Downside? It’s not a cheap face powder, this sort of luxury doesn’t come cheap unfortunately – at £32.50 but, price aside, it’s beautiful.

    Wow, that looks gorgeous.

True, it’s a bit pricey but how thrilled would you be if someone surprised you with it at Christmas in your stocking?

    Very pretty xx

Fabulously pastel shades, but you are right it`s pretty expensive. But it Givenchy. And we`ll pay about £2,95 for 1 g, because it is quality and history.

I want it! It’s just that I’m not quite sure I’m splurge on such a high-end product… Always been a bit skeptical 🙁
