FashionistA Custom Palette

Is it just me, or has there been a huge influx of rather exciting, amazing quality/value make-up ranges launching? Some might say a few too many, but not me! Bring on the cheap but awesome make-up!
Here’s an example of one of the offerings from the FashionistA range – the core of their brand is the mix-and-match palettes. Single blushers and shadows that pop in and out of a four pan palette, with a nice large mirror to boot. Happy days.
The four shades I have been trying are…(clockwise from top left): Gold Rush, Radiant, Golden Glow, Juicy Apricot (blush). I really expected the top two shades to be possibly a bit on the glittery side, but no – all four shades are gorgeously silky and shimmery.
Clockwise from top left: Gold Rush, Radiant, Golden Glow, Juicy Apricot
My favourite shade has to be Radiant – it’s a gorgeous warn brown shade, with slight pinky/purple undertones. When my favourite MAC shade is satin taupe, then it’s fairly safe to say the browny/purple/taupe shade would be my number one pic…

I’m impressed by how vivid the Golden Glow shade is… amazingly pigmented and shimmery. Will be amazing for a Christmas eye make-up look.
My only teeny tiny niggle is that the blusher does tend to be a little on the chalky side compared to the other shades – but I do like how it’s not as uber-shimmery, but it does have a shot of golden glitter running through it. Just a bit of careful application and it’s all good.
The best thing about the range is the insane amount of choice. There are a whopping XX shades available to pick and mix. You could have one palette and loads of shades, but then just pop them in and out as you want – each shade comes in a single pot so you can use them as singles if you like.
FashionistA is available from Superdrug (palette is £5 each palette is £4)

I really love the Fashionista shades but I would love if they brought out a 12 or 16 palette so I don’t have to store all the eyeshadows in different palettes loool
