A little something different for a Sunday post… a food one!
Starters wise, I went for Baked Chestnut Mushrooms – which was a huge dish (huge for a starter) with a crispy bread base, then filled with melted mozzarella and mushrooms. So tasty, not one for those on a diet (this sort of dish is the reason I *should* be on a diet).

So, I’m no food critic – but wanted to share my thoughts in case anyone was thinking of visiting Jamie’s. Overall – the food is good, but the presentation is the main wow factor. The service is good and price-wise it’s reasonable. I’d definitely go again, but would try something else from the extensive menu.
Ate at the Reading branch once. Worst, most overpriced, most over-hyped Italian meal I’ve had in my life, and dreadful service too. We ended up getting the entire bill refunded once we complained to head office. Have never been back, and will never give Jamie Oliver a penny of my money ever again.

I have been to the one in Cheltenham which is fab… it is in an old Magistrates courts, and in one of the rooms you can sit in the dock! I had a seafood linguine which was delicious….my bf had a burger and fries and they were also lovely. We will definitely be going back 🙂

I walk past the Angel Jamie’s Italian everyday on the way to work and am always tempted by the little coffee truck – so cute! x
We go to the canary wharf one fairly often for family celebrations, love it.

I haven’t been to Jamies Italian yet, but I hear the one here in Bath is pretty good xx
