Another day, another post about my quest for lasting volume…. I feel a bit like Goldilocks when it comes to volumising products sometimes they’re too big…leave my hair too crispy, or too dry… never satisfied! But these are a great styling combo for me at the moment.
The Umberto Giannini Volume Mousse for Big Hair and the Root Boost Volume Spray for Big Hair – the mousse is more of an every day thing for me. Then if I want an extra bit of oomph I throw in the Root Boost Spray!
I find more is more with the mousse – not a product to scrimp on when using it. Go for a big dollop and comb it through so it’s not just at the roots. Hair does need to be really properly dried though or else there is a tendency for bits to go a bit crispy. But when I get it right, this does a great job of giving my flat ‘blah’ hair more volume than normal – and it lasts!
