Double Denim: Outfit

I generally wouldn’t say that double denim is really my style, but I have made an exception for this denim shirt/black jeans combo….

Shirt – Topshop, Jeans – ASOS, Belt – H&M, Shoes – H&M, Necklace – H&M,
Nails – GOSH Holograhic Hero*, Watch – Michael Kors (ASOS)

This shirt was a birthday present from some of my lovely friends and I absolutely adore it – it’s my new favourite wardrobe item. It’s from Topshop and the thing I love about it is that it’s so simple – there’s no embellishment or crazy details, it’s just a straight forward shirt.

Also part of the outfit is one of my other recent favourites – the necklace, which is from H&M and I absolutely love how it adds a real statement to a simple outfit. I’m also wearing my new Michael Kors Watch, which was a bargain in the ASOS sale (and a little happy-birthday-to-me prezzie)

Also to finish it all off the nails are the legendary Holographic Hero* from GOSH – the amazing holo polish that sold out and vanished from our shelves… well good news, it’s coming back! More info on the blog soon!

I think the blue and black work really well together- You’ve not made it too fussy , but added that bit of something special – looking fabulous I’d say!

I think double denim looks good as long as the top/jacket is a light shade and the bottom is indigo/black. It’s only when everything is stonewash that you look a bit Brokeback Mountain! You look great 🙂

LOL – your comment made me giggle! Definitely avoiding the brokeback mountain look!
