Balmi Mint Lipbalm

How adorable is this little mint lip balm? I love the little ball design of the lip balm – you just twist off the lid to reveal a little dome of moisturising goodness! Plus it has a little toggle thing to attach to keyring, or whatever!

These new Balmi balms are very similar to the EOS lip balms that are available in America – so it’s nice to see something similar hit the shelves over here.

Balm-wise, I love this – it’s light and lovely and does the job. I love the slightly tingly mint flavour of this one that I’ve been trying out. I wonder what will happen and how easy it will be to apply when the dome wears down.
My only problem is that although I thought it felt pretty sturdy – the twist-on lid actually broke after only a few uses (and the first time it was in my handbag rather than just kept at home) – so this is a bit disappointing. I think I just over-twisted it on, so partly my fault – but still feel it should be sturdier than that and not break so easily. Especially when it’s priced at £8.95 (on – it’s listed for £3.95 elsewhere)… not too cheap for a lip balm!
So easily broken packaging aside, it’s a lovely balm – I just hope the faulty lid on mine was a one off.
Available from Mountain Warehouse (? never heard of them ?) for £3.99 and for and it’s also for £4.99

I’m reluctant to buy into this round lip balm trend until I know how easy they are to use when the dome has worn down. It just seems a little gimmicky is all.

I have an eos one, but I love that these are easier & cheaper to find in the UK. I will definitely be getting some of these 😉 xx

This is so cute – I’ve seen them reviewed on a few blogs lately so I feel they are going to become another hyped about product!! Xx.

Im excited to try these & see how they measure up to the EOS ones. I love trying lipbalms, but i wont be paying £8.95 for it. I will wait until i find it cheaper.
