This little highlighter is my current love for a bit of a glow. I’m not always one to wear highlighter in the day for fear of the Cullen-glitter effect. But this one is so fine and pure shimmer, not glitter. The combination of pinks, bronze, white and champagne can be blended or used alone depending on the colour you want.
I decided to swatch each of the shades alone and also blended together. It tends to show that the pale white shimmer is the strongest one to come through so I tend to lean towards the pinker shades for daytime as it has a slightly more blusher effect rather than pure pale shimmer and highlight.
This highlighter is from the Laura Mercier Summer Jewel Collection – so it now being late September, I’m a tad on the late side talking about this one. But it’s just become such a well-used product that I’ve been so busy using it I may have been a bad blogger and forgotten tot talk about it!
But the good news is that it’s stil available to buy from the Laura Mercier website (£31).
On a slightly irrelevant note – I have to mention how much I adore the packaging of Laura Mercier products – I know it’s simple, but I love it in it’s sleek simplicity. There’s something that just screams high-end luxe to me, but in an understated way. Just how I like it. So any other suggestions for products to try from the brand and I’d be interested to hear them – it’s one I’ve only really dabbled in, in the past (their oil-free tinted moisturiser was a long-term favourite of mine when I was a little younger) but it’s been a while so need to re-acquaint myself!
