As anyone who has seen my few outfit posts on this blog will know, I’m not one to really be massively ‘out there’ with my choice of clothes – and for going along to fashion week my outfit choice was no different! I stuck to a few trusted favourites, plus a couple of new bits…
|Jacket – Topshop (old), Grey Top – Topshop, Shorts – H&M, Bag – Mulberry,
Boots – New Look, Watch – Michael Kors, Necklace – H&M
A couple of bits worth mentioning…
My new Mulberry bag – a very recent addition to my wardrobe that has barely left my arm since. I LOVE it, and it’s the first black bag I’ve really, really liked. This is from the Mulberry Outlet at Bicester Village. I know a few people are very interested in the sort of stuff you can get there so might dedicate a whole post as have a few tips – let me know in the comments if you want to know more.
The shorts – another recent wardrobe addition, these were £19.99 from H&M and I knew I wanted them as soon as saw them. They’re more like culottes than shorts I guess as they half look like a skirt. So comfy to wear but a bit more interesting than other skirts or shorts I own. Can also see these being easy to dress up for a night out.
The boots – these are another recent purchase (I think I might have a shopping problem) from the 915 section in New Look. Yes, the teen section. But the shoes go up to a size 6 and they have some nice styles (actually bought two pairs… see, shopping problem… but more on these soon).
Oh, and on the jacket – I did nearly wear my leather jacket but decided against it last minute as didn’t want to be wearing a *too* black outfit.
Also, make-up wise I did have something a little different – graphic eye liner, courtesy of the MAC media lounge at Somerset House. You may have had a peek at this if you follow me on Instagram (@beautyjunkieldn) but I’ll talk more on the overall media lounge/MAC experience in another post – with a closer look at the make-up!
