I was having a bit of a clear out of my skincare products and realised I’d never blogged about these ones that have been a long term staple for me – not ones I use daily but definitely ones I return to frequently. I first picked up these products back when Groupon did that voucher offer when I think for something like £10 you got £30 or something and it was amazing how far that went! So I picked up a few products and have since replaced these with new versions.
I actually bought another mask initially but didn’t love it so didn’t re-purchase with the others. My favourite of this trio is definitely the t-tree exfoliating pads. They are great for helping to clear breakouts and I use them on my chin area as that’s where I tend to get any congestion every now and then. The Vitamin E moisture mask is great if you have dehydrated skin – it’s also good as an overnight cream for face and hands. The Aloe mask I use if my skin is feeling sensitive or being a bit prone to redness. It’s nice and refreshing and calming.
I sometimes feel a bit like The Body Shop is one of those brands that’s lovely, but easy to forget as a fickle beauty blogger when I want to explore new brands or like the range in department stores – going into a single shop to see it’s range is easy to bypass. But when I went on my mini spree there I found so many good things in the beauty products range!
I was also going to include a mention of the pink grapefruit bath and shower gel from the Body Shop Bodycare range that’s more for bath/body than face… but I’ve been using it every day for a few weeks and it’s nearly empty and that looks a bit rubbish to photograph! But take my word for it – if you want (need) a bit of a kick up the bum in the morning… that’s ideal. SO refreshing!
So there’s a little peek at some of my favourites from The Body Shop – let me know if you want to see more little brand/round up posts and I’ll see what I can do!
