What’s in my bag?

Other than the regular inclusion of Oyster Card, keys, phone and tatty old receipts (not shown…but I am normal, this happens) I do tend to change what’s in my bag fairly regularly, but these are my current favourites that have been setting up residence in my daily handbag.

The bag is my totally adored Mulberry Alexa in black… which has been my daily bag, without fail since it first came into my life.

The essentials:
Oyster card – Living in London this is pretty much the most important item in my bag. Without it, I’m walking everywhere. I actually use this Oyster Card Holder to hold my main bank cards too as it’s much easier to carry around/pull out quickly than a proper wallet.
Keys/Gum/Headphones – Kinda self explanatory…
Umbrella – From Primark and very essential for London/UK weather. Could probably do with finding a slight smaller/lighter one.
Soap & Glory Hand Food – Current hand cream love. Smells good and does the job.
Turquoise Wallet (from Topshop) – This carries any cash/coins and my store loyalty cards or vouchers and non daily-use cards.
USB stick – Always have one of these in my bag, never know when I could do with one for work so handy to have in there.
iPhone4 – If it isn’t super-glued to my hand then it’s in my bag! I’ve had my trusty iPhone4 for over 18 months now and it has treated me well but I’m thinking of popping down to the old Carphone Warehouse and upgrading to an iPhone5 as soon as I can in November. I want the iPhone 5 in white, because I’m a girl and the white will match my macbook. That’s how cool I am.
Notebook – The little red notebook is my handy little blog notebook, where I note down my ideas for posts or little reminders for things I need to do!
Make-up bag contents:
Soap & Glory Hand Made – Perfect match for the Hand Food. Very handy to keep hands clean despite gross London grime.
Eve Lom Kiss Mix* – Love, love, love this lipbalm. So good, feels fresh and minty and magically makes lips feel so much better.
Lipstick – This changes all the time but current favourite is L’Oreal Rouge Caresse in Nude Ingenue (that you can see more of here). A nice easy to wear neutral.
Clinique Even Better Eyes* – This is looking  a little battered, having been in my bag on a daily basis for a while. This is part skincare/part make-up – it treats and helps cover under eye circles and I find it perfect for a touch up after a long day in front of the computer so eyes both look and feel fresher.
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser Compact* – A new addition to the bag since I’ve been mixing things up a bit for Autumn and switching a powder for something a bit more moisturising and skincare like to avoid dry patches popping up. I find this is perfect for on the go touch ups and keeping skin taken care of.
UNE Sfumato Eye Pencil* – This is a pretty grey shade that I love to carry with me for easy extra definition during the day or adding a bit of a smoke for night. I also have a liquid liner stashed in my desk at work if I want a bit more drama.

I like the Topshop wallet and Mulberry Alexa, of course!

Hand Food and Hand Maid are my ultimate duo – once I used the hand maid and someone asked who’d put perfume on, and I had to admit that it was my amazing smelling hand sanitiser…
