Shu Uemura Art of Hair Limited Edition Fragrance Oil Spray

Shu Uemura are really up there as the kings of amazing, high-end hair care. The hair products from the brand I have tried in the past have never failed to impress me – and this new Limited Edition one is no different.

This is the Shu Uemura Art of Hair Essence Absolue Nourishing Fragrance With Oil Pearls. Which basically translates into a really amazing smelling spray for hair that works like a leave in conditioner/serum type of product – ie. you spray in and leave it to do it’s thing rather than rinse out.

The idea of this is that you get all the benefits of the regular Essence Absolue, but with the addition of a gorgeous hair fragrance. When I say gorgeous, I really mean it – this stuff smells divine. I tried to put my finger on the scent, but it reminds me of warm towels drying in the sun on holidays – but apparently it’s actually Camellia Oil!

The bottle when you first look is filled with these little white balls (the oil pearls) but a quick shake blends into a milky looking yellow liquid. Then a light spritz over the hair (I do this onto wet hair as find oils weigh my hair down if using on dry/styled hair). The fragrance really is amazing – and overall, my hair is left feeling absolutely silky smooth and shiny.

I do only use this lightly, maybe 4 spritzes to cover my whole head of hair – but if you gave thicker/drier hair than me you might want to use more (or try on dry hair).

But overall, this is a lovely combination of gorgeous product that feels special to use and something that leaves my hair feeling in better condition than it did before!

This sounds divine. I love the idea of haor oils, as your haor holds fragrances far longer than your skin does. I use my lavender Dr Bronners to wash my haor after the gym and it helps me sleep so well 😀 I shall have to keep my eyes peeled for this!

I love the idea of this having the oil pearls in it! Ooo it seems quite pricey but if I does the job then great 🙂
