Not the most creative title for a post, but the reason I wanted to blog about these is exactly what the title says. These are products I like because they smell good.
Both of these Soap & Glory items came in the big gift box that was available half price before Christmas…which I did gift to myself (and bought one for my sister too). And I know it’s no shocker that Soap&Glory products smell good, it’s kind-of their thing… but these two (in my opinion) smell especially good…
Smoothie Star is a body milk, which normally I find too light at this time of the year – but this one is actually really good. Thicker than a milk, and really does pack a moisturising punch. With ingredients such as almond, cocoa, yogurt, oat and honey it’s not surprising when I say it smells good enough to eat.
It’s creamy but soaks in quickly and smells SO GOOD. But the scent doesn’t last, which is probably a good thing or I suspect random strangers may try to lick me on the tube.
As for the Peaches and Clean 4 in 1 wash-off deep cleansing milk (what a mouthful) it smells of peaches and cream. Which fist thing in the morning is such a refresher. I normally don’t love cleansing milks, tending to prefer either a cleansing oil or something that foams – but because this is one that I can wash off with water I am really liking it. I do still remove make-up first with my Bioderma and then use this, but it’s good! Much better than I expected it would be. And the smell just makes it a joy to use!
Does smell influence how you feel about a product?
Smothie Star (£10) from Boots and Peaches and Clean (£7) from Boots.
Bought by me.
I’ve always heard that the Soap & Glory products smell amazing, cream and peaches?! That’s just too good, I’m addicted to peaches! I love the scent (and I love to eat them hahaha). Sad thing is that S&G is not available in my country 🙁 grr.
Great post!

I like the sound of the cleansing milk! A nice follow up to makeup removal, and I’m sure the scent makes nighttime skin care that much nicer 🙂

I love Soap and glory products too, it’s such a great price when it goes on sale in boots. My favourite atm is the mist spray.
I love Peaches and Clean – though it always reminds me of the book Holes by Louis Sachar in which the denouement involves peaches.
I had been umming and ahing about buying it, and then it being in the big gift box was amazing 🙂 I haven’t used Smoothie Star yet, though.
I got the soap and glory box as well and the body milk is my favourite soap and glory product ever! I love the smell of peaches and cream but I feel like it leaves a kind of residue on my skin. (even after washing it off) Worth keeping it for the smell though 😛

I love Peaches and Clean. I’ve got 3 cleansers on the go- that one, Elemis and Murad. I like using Peaches and Clean at night, it feels so moisturising.

The Smoothie Star body milk sounds amazing, I’m usually more of a body butter kind of girl but I love that is has it’s own pump plus the scent sounds heavenly.
