Valentine’s day is just around the corner, and whilst you can normally lump me into the fairly ‘meh’ group about the whole ‘commercial/overhyped’ day thing, but since getting engaged not long ago then you may have to excuse me feeling a bit suckered in by all things love related!
But to me Valentine’s doesn’t have to be about over priced roses or forced romantic dinners – it’s just about showing the person you love that you love them. That person doesn’t have to be another person either, nothing wrong with a bit of self appreciation or a little treat that makes you feel fab!
