Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector

These little babies are the new additions to the much-raved about Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector range – adding three new shades to the range. These really are all round amazingness – creating the ultimate ‘my lips but better effect’, perfect for non lipstick lovers or a daytime look.

Time to take a closer look at the three new shades…

The three shades offer something for a big range of skin tones – Petal Shimmer is a baby pink that’s fab for paler skins. Candy Shimmer (my personal favourite) is a brighter pink with just a hint of peachy/coral to it – such a perfect Spring/Summer shade!

Then there’s Rosewood Shimmer – the brown toned nude that’s pretty, but on me it doesn’t work just yet due to my total lack of tan. But can imagine this would look fab on tanned skin or darker skin tones.

Now, I have a little bit of a confession to make – I’ve heard so much good stuff about the Instant Light Lip Perfector, but hadn’t even tried them until next week. I know…crazy. But having tried them now, they really do stand up to the hype test – there’s a huge reason that these are loved so much. They’re fab – they just do everything you want from an all round flattering lip colour.

Which shade catches your eye? Any other Candy Shimmer lovers out there like me!

The three new shades aren’t available yet, but the originals (Nude, Rose and Apricot Shimmer) are available from Boots (£17)

I got my first one in Petal Shimmer last week and I’m in love! It just feels buttery on your lips and the (vanilla?) scent is amazing. I would have gotten Candy Shimmer but they were sold out 🙁
