Rimmel recently(ish) re-launched it’s Salon Ro range with a new look and a new consistency and generally an all-round make-over. I’ve been absolutely loving these polishes and there are some real gems in there shade wise so I thought a post taking a look at the few I have might be in order – plus a little look at my favourite from the bunch!
The range covers all tastes – from classic reds and burgundy to blues, purples and turquoise. The shade that really caught my eye of the collection is Summer Orange – pretty much a dead ringer for Chanel Holiday it’s one of those ideal reddy-orange hybrid shades that is Summer in a bottle. Maybe you don’t fancy the ‘pretty pink’ coral type shades, this is red but with the orange twist.
As you can see from the picture, the colour has a real pop to it. The formula is also flawless – smooth and so shiny when applied, if it wasn’t for the fast-drying bonus, I wouldn’t have bothered with a top coat of Seche Vite. This stuff shines on it’s own!
In the range there’s also a selection of ‘Kate Moss’ shades – these are the shades hand picked by Kate and all names with music references, linking to her reputation as a bit of a rock chic! There’s another winner of an orange/red hybrid type shade in there too – Hip Hop. Slightly more towards the reddy pink side of things but still with that orange sort of tint to it. Another gorgeous colour!
Have you tried the new Salon Pro nail range? As I said, I’ve been really impressed by this – Summer Orange will be a favourite for the season for me!
