The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipsticks: PART 2

Following on from this morning’s swatch-fest post on the new Body Shop Colour Crush lipstick range I wanted to do a second post (because otherwise it would be a bit too photo heavy) covering my top picks from each of the colour families in the range… one from each. Here’s my top three colour choices from The Body Shop Colour Crush range:

So starting with the reds, I went for the orange-red shade ‘Coral Cutie’, I don’t really think it’s a true coral really, but that’s coming from someone who sees coral as a mix of pink and peach rather than orange and red. But I love this colour and think its’ the ideal Summer into Autumn transition.

Then from the browns I chose another apparently ‘coral’ shade.. this is ‘Coral Kiss’. Again, I’m not really convinced that this is a coral, but either way – I like the shade. It’s a nude, but with a pink warmth to it so I don’t end up looking too washed out. A very easy to wear shade.

Then from the pink family…this was the toughest choice of the lot as there were loads in there I loved the look of but decided to go with my gut and chose the bright ‘Passionate Pink’ shade. I really love a hot pink lip colour and when they’re more blue toned, I think they suit my skin tone – so this one was my winner.

But as I said in Part 1 there really is a huge range of shades, if you want a shimmering deep brown, to a pale pink to a fire red…they’re all covered. With a lovely texture too – really creamy and hydrating. But the number one selling point of these has to be the colour pay off – they really live up to their name!

Make sure you have a read of part one and tell me what your colour choices would be!

These look very creamy! It’s weird though how different Coral Cutie and Coral Crush are even though they both have corals on their names.
