London Fashion Week: Style Spotting

So today was spent soaking up the sights of London Fashion Week – I had a few backstage trips planned in and in-between these couldn’t resist some people watching around the courtyard at Somerset House. I adore a bit of people watching at the best of times – and Fashion Week really does bring out some gems to spot. On all ends of the scale – from the gorgeously styled people who give me major wardrobe envy, to the weird and the wonderful. It seems there is no such thing as too much or too little when it comes to fashion week in London. So here are a few of the style snaps I shot of people I spotted strutting their stuff on the cobbled catwalk of the courtyard (how some of them managed to do so without breaking a leg in the heels they had on is a marvel)…

My favourite outfits I spotted are the camel coat/ripped boyfriend jeans/white shirt combo at the top – looks stylish without being too try-hard and the boyfriend jeans red jumper and sunnies combo – another ‘just threw this on’ combo that I always think looks the best.

Seems like pops of colour are still going strong as a trend – especially when in the form of shoes or a clutch bag. Boyfriend jeans also seem to be winning out with the fashion crowd over skinny. Red seems to be very popular – in coats, bags and jackets. Cobalt blue is also popping up all over the place – a colour that was big on the catwalk too – the David Koma show had loads of gorgeous bright blue.

I also spotted Andy Torres from Style Scrapbook arriving and being interviewed, I’ve read her blog for quite some time and really like her style so had to snap a quick photo.
