I’m actually writing this as I sit on the plane ready to return to London, they haven’t told us to turn things off yet so thought I’d tap out a few words before I head back to reality!
This week has been the beginning of a bit of a series of whistle stop travelling for me. Starting with a wonderful trip to the gorgeous city of Amsterdam. It’s a city I’ve been to visit before but didn’t get to see quite enough of this time around. But if have had a bit of a ‘pinch me’ just over 24 hours! I was picked up bright and early and whisked to London City airport to board our flight to Schiphol airport along with the fabulous Ree, Milly, Zoe and Lily.
The amazing lobby at the hotel we were staying in.
Lots of bells at the reception…must resist urge to ding them all!
The first of a few amazing meals…I had steak and it was yummy.
Apples and white roses galore!
The view down into the lobby and brasserie area.
The DKNY Be Delicious Skin Campaign Shots
The absolutely stunning and totally down to earth Marloes Horst – the new face of the campaign.
All dressed up for cocktails at the Moooi gallery.
The weird and wonderful bits in the Moooi gallery.
I want a sofa like this!
Hanging violins in the hotel entry.
Me and all the girls! (L-R: Me, Milly, Lily, Ree and Zoe)
The New York inspired menu for the launch dinner – so many courses but so perfectly sized that you never felt like you had over-eaten!
Pretty Dutch buildings, didn’t get to see enough of the city on my flying visit but it is lovely.
The most amazing desert – white chocolate filled with fruit. A pistachio sauce was poured on top to make it melt. So good.
The gorgeous lobby again.
The hotel we were in.
Spotted at the airport – how cute is this quad of the classic DKNY fragrances?!
Dutch tulips, one of my favourite flowers.
Breakfast in bed before heading back to London.
Stay tuned for more on the new fragrance and a little more about the hotel we were staying in. But there’s a little overview of what I had been up to in Holland!
