It’s that time of the month – it’s beauty box time! No matter how I try and and be all ‘cool’ about beauty boxes, I just can’t – I still find them really exciting to receive and open and see what’s inside! Sometimes they’re more exciting than others… so this post is all about the contents of Glossybox March 2014!
In this months Glossy Box there’s a real mixed bunch of goodies – plus the new Glossy Mag that’s started to be included in the past few months of boxes – nice addition. Beauty goodies wise there’s a Dove 60 Second Conditioner tube – a good conditioner and nice for a pampering sesh. I am a big fan of Dove products in general actually .
Then there’s a tinted lip balms from Sleek – the ‘Pout Polish’ in a nude shade. I’ve tried one of these before and they’re nice – quite gloss-like in the sense that they’re a bit on the sticky side and quite liquid but lovely shades and include SPF. Then there’s a shadow pigment from Bella Pierre cosmetics – one I’ve seen pop up a few times in the Glossy Boxes. It’s a lovely shade, but I am like a bull in a china shop when it comes to pigment. I can pretty much guarantee that if I try to use I will tip this on the floor… but a lovely shade all the same (it’s a taupe-bronze – very safe and a crowd pleaser, just how I like my eyeshadow).
Then for body there’s a cream from Mitchell & Peach – a decent size and would be good to take for a long weekend. Then lastly there are two fragrance samples – I’ve said a few times so I won’t dwell on it now, but I always feel a bit ‘meh’ about a fragrance sample in a beauty box so these are defintely the least exciting in the box for me.
Might not be the standout for everyone, but I’m mostly excited to try the Dove conditioner!
