When a few treats from Lush arrived and I spotted these three little carrots, I just couldn’t resist but think about including the bunnies in the blog photos for them somehow. But do you know how awkward it is to try and lure a bunny onto a white rug with a real carrot to casually nibble this alongside a bunch of fake carrots?! Surprisingly hard… but I can now check that off the bucket list (kidding, that definitely wasn’t on there – but I can put this one down on the list of ‘odd things I’ve done for my blog’). The point being, to take a look at some of the Lush Easter offerings* for this year…
So, whilst Chip enjoys the real carrot…lets take a look at the other goodies! Also…ignore the fact that two out of three of the carrots were broken, they arrived like that so I just went with it!
Starting at the top with the orange square – this is the ‘Lush Carrot Soap’, apparently a cross section of a larger carrot (which I’m sure you can see in store? It does contain carrot oil, but doesn’t smell of carrot – more sweet than that. I’m not a huge soap fan, but this one does smell really nice. Then there’s the bunch of carrots – these are reusable bubble bars, that again – don’t smell of carrot – instead they’re more citrussy and fresh.
Then there’s the Golden Egg – this is apparently a mix of a bubble bar and a bath bomb (amazing) that smells like Honey I washed the kids – a lush favourite. My only issue – I really hate glitter for a bath. I might be alone in this, but the idea of bathing in glitter and leaving a bath covered in sparkle (or having to clean the tub post-soak) just doesn’t appeal in the slightest. The fact that there was glitter everywhere after just taking a few photos of this one does put me off putting it into the bath – despite how pretty it is (and how the bath bomb/bath melt combo really does sound amazing).
Finally there’s the Brightside Bubble Bar – now we’re talking. This is so my sort of lush product. My all time favourite is The Comforter – and this is basically along those lines, but with a citrus/mandarin scent to it – totally my sort of thing. The glitter on this has purely rubbed off from that darn golden egg and it’s glitter-spray. So this is the one I’m most looking forward too (the size of these also mean good value for money too).
So there’s a little run down of what we have from Lush for Easter – some lovely bits. To be honest – all a big excuse to stage a mini photo shoot with the bunny… *no rabbits were harmed in the writing of this blog post (she was pretty happy with her carrot).

Thanks Charlotte- couldn’t resist an excuse to feature the bunnies!
Love your bunny…so cute. I’ve only recently started using Lush products and actually posted about my first mini haul today, but, like you say, I’m not so keen on the glitter element apart from the fact it looks pretty! Would love to hear how you get on with using these! Danielle x

I do love Lush products, especially the bubble bars. They seem to create so many bubbles from just a small amount.
