The Beauty Re-Purchases

I love to try new products, I have a collection that rivals the aisles of Boots (much to my boyfriends frustration) but there are a few products that I very rarely waver from and consistently return to. So I thought a little round up of the beauty repurchases was in order. These select few products are the ones I love enough to buy over and over…

I’m going to start with the Dove Original deodorant, yes – a bland one I know. I mean, it’s a deodorant, who cares what deodorant I use!? Probably no-one, but when I was thinking of products I love and go back to, this one stuck out. I do use others from time to time, and always keen to try anything out that promises to nip any sweating in the bud. But the fresh and powdery fragrance of Dove Original always draws me back in. It’s sort of like a perfume and deodorant in one, if you like the clean/fresh scents like I do. It just makes me feel nice and clean, so what’s not to like about it?!

Then there’s the Bourjois 1 Second Nail Polish Remover. I’ve tried other brand’s attempts at this idea, the remover pot. But this is the one I keep coming back to, having worked my way through probably around 5/6 pots now since it first launched. It’s a simple idea, but oh-so-effective. It removes all the fuss of cotton wool, and just makes thing easier. That’s why I like it. Rumour has it they have a version coming out for the toes soon too…

On the nail front there’s also the top coat to beat all other top coats – Seche Vite – it’s the one that I guarantee if you try this, you will struggle to go back to any other after using it. This is again one I’ve worked my way through multiple bottles of over the years since I first used. Downside of this is that, whilst it is amazing, it does get thick and gloopy quite quickly and I often find myself throwing out a polish bottle before it’s finished as it’s just too thick to use. But there’s nothing that dries as fast and leaves as glossy a shine as this. My one true top-coat love.

Also on nails/hands there’s my favourite hand cream – I have a whole range of hand creams on the go at any one time. But this is the one I always come back to. It’s Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream and this is a little mini bottle, I also have a giant bottle on my desk and a normal sized bottle by my bed. So I’m covered in all locations. Put it simply, this is a fab hand cream – thick and moisturising, absorbs easily and leaves hands soft and silky. Plus it smells good. Love it.

Finally, there’s a dinky tube of my much loved Hydraluron (I have a big tube around too, but not sure where I’ve left it right now) but this little clear gel is just fab if you have dehydrated skin. It contains a bucket load of hyularonic acid to help your skin hold on to more moisture and works as either a serum or as a little booster. I love this for travelling as works a treat on parched post-flight skin. Oh, and they also now have a mask version of this which I’m loving too. Need to blog about those!

Those are all my favourites that I will return to time and time again, until the beauty world does the amazing and makes EVEN BETTER versions of them! What are the products you always repurchase?

FYI all of the above are re-purchases (bought by me) of products that may have been PR samples when I first tried.

Great choices, and I repurchase most of these again and again too! I couldn’t be without my Bourjois Nail Polish remover or my Hydraluron, and once my bottle of Seche Vite runs out I’ll be repurchasing for sure! x

I almost didn’t give into the hype around Seche Vite, thinking that it really couldn’t be THAT much better. I couldn’t have been more wrong! It’s like no other! xx

I adore Seche Vite Top coat. It really does everything you need it too. Adding a little acetone and shaking brings new life into a gloppy bottle, non wasted. Another great one to try is ‘American Classics – In A Hurry, Air Dry Top Coat’ just as good and also contains all the goodies, such as UV Protection etc; but it does not thicken as fast.
The Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream is just amazing, I totally agree, tons on the go but this one is the best; not so much a fan of the scent – but the formula works miracles, purchased more times than I can count. Great post. x

Great recommendations I’ll have to try some of these. This month I repurchase the wake me up foundation by Rimmel.
