Revlon have a new limited edition collection out soon – the Revlon Textile Collection * includes three ‘leather’ shades and three ‘Tweed’ shades. Which translates into three matte textured shades on the leather side and three shard-sparkle shades on the tweed side. With the idea being that they nails are a fashion-led addition to your wardrobe. I like the idea of high street brands doing more limited edition collections – especially when quite small, and love that it’s a nail-only selection too.
The three tweed shades are: Tweed Mini (the blue and white), Uptown (purple glitter shards), and Woven Clutch (golden glitters). Then the leathers are Motorcycle Jacket (black), Rock Chic (blue) and Downtown (purple). For my mani at the launch event I went for the Downtown leather shade – a deep aubergine purple and loved it. Plus, despite the texture – they’re not hard to get off either. I can’t comment on the glitter version as suspect these would be a bit more of a challenge like any glitter polish. But the slightly gritty textured leather shade was a breeze to remove (and actually lasted really well too). One thing to be aware of, is that it’s not one you would want to put a top coat over as it would ruin the matte texture finish. So maybe consider this if in a hurry – or pick up some quick dry drops/liquid. Revlon actually do one of these and Jenny Longworth – Revlon Nail Ambassador – used this on my nails for my mani around the edges to help them dry quickly.
The collection is only available from mid-March until July – so if you like the look of these, stock up when they’re on sale as they’re not around forever.
Revlon is available from Boots.com
I really love the look of the Leather Cuir colours. I do like Revlon nail polishes and own a good few, so will check these out, especially as they’re limited edition.

I really loved the deep purple shade, the texture just gives it a nice twist.
Ahhh I love textured nail polish, I’m just put off by how annoying it is to get off!! Must admit the leather effect looks really impressive.
