New: Topshop Nail Colours

There are two things that I always love, one being anything with a bit of a nautical touch and the other being new shades from the Topshop beauty collection. So I wanted to do a little post on these two Topshop Nail Colours that arrived a couple of weeks ago – a classic blue (too good to be blue) and a slight twist on the red nail (Domestic Goddess). Now just to add a white to the mix and I have the red, white and blue nautical trio.

The blue is a very classic mid-toned creamy blue shade. As you know, I am a bit of a sucker for any blue nail shades, so I knew I would love this one. The swatch above is two coats and if you like blues then this really is a good mid-shade to have – not bright, not dark, not pastel. Just straight, creamy blue.

The red is one slightly harder to describe – it’s creamy red, that partially looks like a classic red – but also has something a little bit toned down to it. Maybe even a little touch of the terracotta to it? Sort of creamy, slightly dusky? Does that make any sense at all… I like how it’s a slightly unusual shade – red, but a little bit softer.

I’ve never had any issues with the quality of Topshop polishes, which is why I like them so much – plus you can’t beat the cute polka dot packaging. It really is a fun, gorgeous range and always fun to see what’s coming next from them.

I love Topshop packaging too & they look so cute on your vanity. Both shades are nice, but this year I have been wearing a lot of blues.

What are the shade names? I wanna nab the red on payday! The quality of Topshop’s polishes have always been great for me and they are such good value too. Far better then more expensive brands. Great post.
