I love sorbet. I’m not really a pudding sort of person – much prefer a starter…especially one with cheese involved. But when it comes to pudding, sorbet is my weakness. It’s just so refreshing – sort of ‘cleanses the palette’ as such after a meal… love the stuff. Plus feels far less guilt inducing than an ice cream. But my pudding preferences aside – The Body Shop have launched a new body range – Body Sorbet. Which might sound a bit odd, but let me explain.
These sorbet are not the sort you need to keep in the freezer – they’re body lotions, but with a whole new texture. Light and gel like, but the liquid is sort of cloudy/matte. Very bizarre, but also amazing. To apply they feel cool and refreshing and can see these being an absolute wonder for Summer – or even post being in the sun cooling.
There are four variants shown here (plus a skincare cream of the same ilk, but that’s for a separate post) – Pink Grapefruit, Strawberry, Moringa and Mango. They all smell good enough to eat – with Pink Grapefruit being my favourite, purely because I adore all things grapefruit! The Strawberry one smells seriously delicious too – like you just covered yourself in strawberries and cream. Moringa is probably the slightly more ‘grown up’ one, with a floral side to it and then there’s the yummy fruity mango. There’s also a Satsuma Version on the website -which I suspect is equally as tasty smelling.
I absolutely LOVE these Body Sorbet lotions for Summer – they just feel so cool and refreshing and the texture manages to hydrate without feeling sticky at all. Seriously amazing -plus it feels like something different. The packaging even feels quite sleek with the matte finish to match the texture. Gorgeous stuff.
