Jo Malone fragrances and collections are coming thick and fast this year! This pretty one for Spring brings back a classic that I personally loved from 2013 – along with two other scents to accompany it and make up the Jo Malone Blue Skies and Blossoms Collection. This is Osmanthus Blossom and is one I blogged about when it launched and it’s one of only a couple Jo Malone fragrances I’ve totally used up (Blackberry and Bay is currently on it’s last legs and is 100% getting repurchased as it’s quite possibly my all time favourite…but that’s a whole other blog post).
Osmanthus Blossom is somehow fresh and sweet at the same time – which to me is how it captures Spring. Like the sunshine in Spring when it’s warm when you’re in the sun but cool when you’re in the shade. It’s like there’s a soft fruity sweetness to it, but with a freshness that keeps it cool rather than too floral sweet. The notes are apparently top note: petitgrain, heart note: osmanthus and base note: cashmere wood.
A spring-perfect scent if ever I smelt one. I also think this is one my mum particularly likes, so I may well be a lovely daughter and pass the bottle her way!
This is of course a limited edition collection – so if you want it, or loved it first time around and want to stock up then move fast!
Jo Malone Blue Skies and Blossoms Collection is out now and also includes Plum Blossom and Sakura Cherry Blossom Cologne also. I haven’t smelt those so am sure it’s worth popping to store to have a sniff at which blossom you love the most.
