Garnier Ultimate Blends Balm

This is a bit of a preview of a video (yes, video!) I have coming over the weekend but I wanted to pop a quick post up about it as it’s a new product that I’ve been absolutely loving it. This is a new addition to the Garnier body care range – Garnier Ultimate Blends Balm. It’s part of a range of body lotions, plus this balm and it’s a total stand out.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Balm

I have really dry skin, probably comes down to me not drinking enough water. But the balm really is a fix-all moisturiser option. It smells AMAZING too. It contains a blend of oat milk and white almond creme. So the scent is a bit of a sweet almond, plus powdery and oaty. So it’s quite a comforting scent, and not one that interferes with perfume.

I’ve been using this all over, on my hands and especially my shins – so areas that tend to be especially dry. The balm texture reminds me a bit of The Body Shop Body Butters, it’s thick but absorbs easily and leaves skin soft ad smooth but not caked in moisturiser or greasy at all. I probably wouldn’t go as far as using it on my face for fear of it being a bit too intense and potentially causing a break out. But for body and hands – this is just gorgeous and a new firm favourite.

On a slight aside – the manicure shot in the photos was Essie Fiji and was done by MW Nails in Spitalfields at the launch of the Ultimate Blends range and it could very well be the best manicure I’ve ever had. A perfect paint job that lasted almost a full week – my nails have been in pretty horrid condition since the start of the year but this lasted with no flaking or chipping. Plus it’s a really cool salon so would very much recommend if you’re looking for a manicure around the Liverpool Street/Shoreditch High Street area.

I’m so glad it’s not just me that gets dry shins, I notice it more when I’m going to bed. They get so itchy I’ve woken myself up because they’ve been bleeding, I’ve been scratching so hard!

Not good! I have really try shins – definitely give this a go. Maybe even try a body oil too as find that helps me when my skin is extremely dry!
