The idea of this post was originally all about Spring and changing up your body care routine for the new season as days get warmer and longer. However, whilst that is happening and the sun shines as I write this. There are bigger things going on globally that mean I wanted to take this from more of a perspective of small moments you can take to brighten your own day even when in difficult situations.

There’s a power to those self care routines in beauty that can really help brighten a mood. From taking the time after a shower to apply a lovely lotion or making sure you have a rich cream to hand that helps counter how dry your hands are feeling from the extra washing. Or applying a nice body oil after a bath to leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised. Small steps, but make a difference.

This new range from Palmer’s has a new twist to it. Taking Vitamin E that has long been a feature of the skincare world for face. But it’s less common as a headline ingredient for body care. However, Vitamin E has many great benefits for body care.
Vitamin E has long been used in facial skincare, but less often a focus for the body. Palmer’s has included Vitamin E in lots of it’s ranges previously but never so much that it is front and centre. But the benefits really show why it makes sense to make Vitamin E part of your body care.
Vitamin E is a great anti-oxidant and anti-inflamatory product. It’s most well known benefits being calming and healing, often being found in products that help reduce the appearance of scars. Vitamin E is known to help repair your skin’s barrier function and has a role in helping the immune system. So I guess if there’s ever a time to add Vitamin E on, now is really it.

The new Palmer’s Skincare Vitamin E range includes a trio of products. A new version of their classic body lotion formula. One of the most famous Palmer’s products is the Cocoa Butter Body Lotion and this a lighter feeling fresh formula. Perfect for this time of year as it combines great hydration for post-winter skin but also feeling light and fresh. It absorbs really quickly and easily to skin which is lovely when time is poor.
In addition to this there’s also a new Vitamin E body oil and much like the rest of the range features a blend of Apricot Oil, Avocado Oil, Coconut and Argan Oil with a mix of naturally derived Vitamin E, Vitamin C and of course the classic Cocoa Butter. This is double use product as can either work well applied to wet skin out of the bath or shower, or you can add a few drops to a warm bath for a soothing skin treat. Or go all out and do both.

My top choice from the new Vitamin E trio is the Palmer’s Vitamin E Concentrated Cream. This stuff is a multi-use dream. A perfect sized tube to carry about and always have at hand (especially key with all the multiple hand washing needed at present). The texture is another light but rich combination. So it manages to do the trick of hydrating without leaving skin feeling heavy or greasy. Perfect for hands, cuticles, elbows, feet, any dry bits really. Gotta love a multi-use type of product.
