Vitamin based skincare: AVST from Environ

Environ have recently launched a new range of moisturisers: Advanced Vitamin Skin Therapy (AVST). The range harnesses active ingredients to promote fabulous skin at any age.

Exclusively available from skincare therapists, beauty salons and spas as the creams includes a super-strength level of vitamin A that only a salon professional brand can offer.

The AVST creams are produced in five varying strengths of vitamins A and C. All of the products contain antioxidants, flavonoids and penetrant enhancers while the higher levels also contain peptides to promote collagen and elastin formation. The 5 levels mean that users can move up through the sequence gradually, starting at 1 and progressing to 5. This enables skin to get used to the increasing strengths of the active ingredients while gaining maximum long-term benefits and avoiding potential retinoid reactions (skin can react badly to high levels of vitamin A or C).

I have been trying out Environ AVST 1 for around a week, and really like it as a light moisturiser for daytime. The cream is almost gel-like, absorbs straight into skin and leaves it soft, smooth and not greasy!

Although not cheap, a little goes a long way and I would recommend this for anyone who worries about moisturiser leaving their skin greasy and with an oil-slick shine. I would be interested to see how the range impacts upon skin over the 5 levels of vitamins A and C.

The Advanced Vitamin Skin Therapy range is priced £29.95 for levels 1, 2 and 3, and £35.95 for AVST 4 and 5.

Did you ever work your way up to level 5? How did you find it?
