Origins Plantscription Foundation

If you watched my August Favourites video on You Tube then you may already have a clue to how much I love this, but in case you didn’t, here’s a clue….a lot. This is my new favourite foundation. Yep, big bold statement here. But it is, since I first tried it I’ve used nothing else – it totally won me over. It’s light, very fluid, but buildable.

The finish is glowy and moisturised, but not shiny. My ideal finish. It also doesn’t get too shiny as the day goes on, I find a quick blot around lunchtime sorts out any excess shine for the day (FYI- I’ve switched from using powder to combat shine to blotting with a tissue, find it lasts longer and doesn’t leave skin feeling cakey)

The foundation does have anti-ageing properties, which is good to know, but for me the finish and coverage is ideal regardless of this. It’s just an ideal foundation for me! Plus, the shade is an ideal match – I have ‘light 2’ and it’s perfect (post summer skin, but not with fake tan).

Of course, the shade match will be a very personal thing, but for me it just added to the perfection!

I would say if you have combination skin, want a healthy, natural looking finish that’s glowy but not *too* glowy. Buildable coverage for when you want it a bit more or less… Plus the bonus of anti-ageing goodness. You definitely need to take a look at this.

Skincare wise im having a bit of a love affair with Origins products, there isn’t one I’ve tried and been disappointed with to date. Current loves are the spot clearing pads and the ‘starting over’ moisturiser, plus the overnight mask is on my lust-list!

It sounds promising, I like that it is a treatment foundation. I also love Origins skincare, I am an on and off user.
