Oiling up for winter…

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – when it comes to skincare and body beauty, I love oils. Oil cleansers, oil hair treatments, bath oils, shower oils…. you get the picture.

I’ve also blogged about how I like skin oil treatments too in the past. I blogged about the Anne Semonin Balancing Kernel Oil which I loved as a treatment for my hands and face, but was a little out of my budget. But now I have found another product that is just as good and I’m loving it.

The product I’m talking about is The Sanctuary Therapist’s Secret Facial Oil (£16.99 for 30ml) part of The Sanctuary’s re-vamped skin care range. I also love one of the masks from the collection and will blog about this shortly…

The bottle comes with a pipette-type dropper/applicator so it’s not messy. A couple of drops is enough for the face, and I use a couple of drops for my hands too. Like the Anne Semonin oil, I like using this as a night treatment for my face and hands and feel that it’s really helping keep my skin deal with the fact that winter is creeping up.

So what do you think of oils for skincare?

I feel the same way about oils and think I might have to investigate this one further. It’s cheap for an oil product, for some reason they’re always so expensive xx

I absolutely love baby oils for body, they’re moisturising and they all smell so cute!
I also use olive oil for my hair ends, as a treatment and I’ve always been very satisfied with it. Olive oil goes very well for my nails, I try ti apply it a few evenings every week.
