I was feeling brave on Friday night for dinner and cocktails with the girls, so I wore some proper red lippie (plus red heels, but don’t have a pic of that!) and I have to admit, I loved it. For one, it made the eye make-up easy – just a quick slick of simple shadow and some mascara and pretty much ready to go.
The colour is gorgeous, not drying and felt lovely to apply and wear. Only downside was the maintenance – I *may* have forgotten to take the lippie with me – so the effect only lasted as long as the second cocktail. Plus I STILL need to find myself a decent lip liner.
I’ll be trying this red lippie look again! I’m also wearing a new foundation here too – which I’m loving so far. More on this when I’ve given it a few days – extra points if you can guess what it is…

You look gorgeous! I adore red lippy and this one looks very beautiful. I use a No. 7 twist up liner in the shade ‘Fire’, it’s nothing fancy but it does the job!
