Last week I went along to the Benefit store in Spitalfields Market to be introduced to their new kit – Finding Mr. Bright. None of the product in the kit are new, but they have all been shrunk and put together in one glow-giving package.
The set contains:
Girl Meets Pearl
Posie Tint
High Beam
Erase Paste (in shade 2)
Of the products in the set, Erase Paste (4) is the one that I have already tried & swear by – it’s creamy and just the right brightening shade that’s perfect for erasing dark circles. Having swatched the other products I have the below thoughts:
Girl Meets Pearl (1) – when applied but not blended it’s pink, when blended out it’s a yellowy/gold shade that shimmers, but isn’t glittery. Very easy to blend, probably most flattering on yellow-toned skin.
Posie Tint (2) – at the event this was described as being like ‘If Barbie had blood, this is what it would probably look like’, which is pretty much the best description I can imaging for the colour that’s un-blended. When blended it’s a very pretty and flattering (more for pale skin tones than dark I think) pink shade that can be used on cheeks or lips.
High Beam (3) – very pale, frosty silver shimmering liquid that can be used to add a super-highlight to anywhere you want to glow. I would say that this is the most glow-giving of the set.
Best thing about this set? They are all the perfect portable size – ideal for carrying around or for travel. It’s also pretty good value – £28.50 for the set, considering Erase Paste is £19.50, Posie Tint is £24.50, Girl Meets Pearl is £24.50 and High Beam is £18.50 (all full size) it’s a good way to try these out without forking out as much.
You can buy the set via the Benefit website.
