Yesterday was that glorious day where it felt like Spring has actually made it to London for the first time – temperatures actually touched onto 10 degrees, the sun was shining and I happily wore a jacket instead of a chunky fur coat.
With that lovely first Spring day comes full license to pull out the most pastel nail shades and full on Spring manicures. Starting with this pick and mix selection of shades from LM Beauty.
This trio of colours combine to make a lovely selection of Spring shades – I simply alternated each shade, which meant on this hand there were more pink/blue and on the other more green. Of the three the cornflower blue and the pink have a pearly shimmer and the minty green is creamy with no shimmer.
The bottles somewhat resemble OPI style, with different silver metallic lids.
Quality wise they do apply smoothly with the green being the easiest to work with – only needing two coats to reach an opaque colour where the pink and blue needed three (or four) to get total opaque colour. The most unique of the three is the cornflower blue with a pearly shimmer and would make a fab single colour manicure. As would any of the colours.
I love this trio as a combination manicure – what do you think of mixing up colours? Like combo nails or prefer to keep it on a one colour basis?? The new accent nail…
