ghd Candy Collection

Am I the only one who is a total sucker for a gadget I already love, in my favourite colour? I guess it’s people like me that the marketing bods across the world were banking on when there was that phase of ‘girly’ gadgets launched – with everything you already knew, launched in pink…because that is what girls like!

Well, actually turquoise is my colour weakness… and I am a sucker for all things turquoise you only have to see my nail varnish collection or the images I pin on my wedding inspiration pinterest board for bridesmaid dresses (pretty determined I want to wear turquoise shoes too) but that’s a whole separate post… right now, back to take a closer look at the latest addition to the ghd family!

As far as ghd stylers go, they are exactly the same as the gorgeous classic that are a hair-styling essential tool for good reason. These new turquoise styler – is part of the new ‘Candy’ range, with a mint, a lilac and a fresh sunshine yellow.

I immediately fell for the mint version as soon as I spotted it – it’s a gorgeous minty fresh colour and on a totally superficial level my ghd straighteners now match the book case where I store all my hair tools…see, I told you my turquoise obsession goes deep!

Am I the only one who’s a sucker for anything in their favourite colour??? Ever been sucked into a purchase purely based on the packaging…?

Yes. Totally sucked in by GHD on this one. I bought these mint stylers a few weeks ago because I *had to* have them.. despite my existing pair of GHDs being perfectly adequate and the fact that I heat style my hair perhaps once every couple of months. What a sucker! xx

I have been waiting to splurge on a ghd iron for a while now. I don’t flat iron my hair often, but the yellow one is a great reason to go ahead and purchase it!

My parents just bought me a pair of these in the lemon colour from the candy collection. My previous ghd’s had broken and were only a couple of years old but these seem to work so much better! also i love that they have a shiny outside so that they dont get mucky like the traditional ones x
