I mentioned this little beauty of a polish in my Butter London Illusionists post a little while ago but this colour deserves a whole post to itself as it’s one of those ‘if in doubt’ shades that can work for pretty much anything. When I say it can work for pretty much anything, I do of course caveat that with the point that it will go with anything if you love grey as much as I do – do you have a wardrobe filled with slouchy grey tops and jumpers? Then you know what I mean here…
Lady Muck is a pale grey-blue sort of shade – technically described as ‘a silvery dust-blue’ – and it really is a go-with-anything shade. I’m not generally one to adore nude nails, nude make-up all the way – but on the nails I like a bit of something different. Bright colour, or dark or grey are my usual go-to nails and to me a grey nail is the equivalent or a nude lip – works for everything.
I feel like I’m definitely having a bit of a Butter London moment in life as I am yet to have found a shade or formula from them that isn’t pretty darn awesome. I am yet to try and of their base/topcoat products or anything nail care related – but I am totally sold on the wonders of the nail colours. I also can’t help but be won over by the fun and cheeky names – nail polishes called ‘Shag’ or ‘Slapper’ anyone!? Plus on an even more shallow basis – I like the shape and style of the bottles. Square bottles, mean easier to store…beauty junkie plus points there!
There are lots of Butter London shades available at Chemist Direct at the moment at £9.99 (saving a couple of quid on the usual £12 RRP) and Lady Muck is just one of them. Next on my wish list of shades from the brand are…The Black Knight, Henley Regatta and Lovely Jubbly!
