So there are mere days to go, you’re running out of time and you still haven’t got your sister/cousing/sheila from next door a gift and are running low on inspiration… here are a few ideas for gift sets that can be bought quickly and easily and are definite ‘happy face’ makers for the lucky person unwrapping them on Christmas morning. Oh, and if you’re really quick you can buy online and avoid pre-Christmas chaos on the high street…
Gift: Bead Head Resurrection Kit Emergency Hair Repair*
Perfect For: Party girls, who love their ‘do
This bed head kit is ideal for any girl who loves to get glammed up and tends to have their GHD’s in hand almost as much as their iPhone. The duo smell nice, area I reviewed one of the other variation in in the range here back in 2010 (excuse the rubbish photos…) and can safely say the smell is amazing for this range – definitely a major selling point of the TIGI Bed Head range. But this posh shampoo duo is under £20 but makes for a fab gift.

Gift: Elemis Fresh Skin Set*
Perfect For: Teens who are just getting interested in beauty
Before they resort to using babywipes to get off the glitter liner or bubblegum pink lipstick (or whatever those kids are wearing nowadays…) then give them this. Elemis is a fab skincare brand and their Freshskin range is perfect for teens (and beyond) as manages to bring together the deep cleansing/spot fighting side of skincare whilst also having a big place for moisture and hydrating – often forgotten in teen skincare. I always remember using harsh things like Oxy, drying out spots – sure, that worked. But then I was left with flaky dry skin…which was preferable to spots, but far from ideal! Plus this comes with a cute pink pouch…

Gift: Bliss Mini Set*
Perfect For: Girls who travel a lot
I adore Bliss products, it’s a brand very much on my radar right now (I’m hoping one of their cellulite/slimming products is going to work miracles in the next few days for me…) and this little set is a gorgeous little option for anyone who loves to travel – further a field or just for a weekend away. As it contains all the essentials in the fresh Lemon and Sage fragrance – plus a few extras in perfect for a few days sizes.
Where to buy: M&S or HQHair.com (£20.50)
Gift: The Body Shop Joyful Gingerbread House*
Perfect for: Younger siblings or Aunties
The Body Shop is basically where I always end up buying lots of gifts from, they’re great for ‘if in doubt’ moments – as everyone loves to find a bit of the Body Shop in their stocking! The best thing about this lovely little gift isn’t just that it contains some cute travel size body butters in the Cranberry and Gingerbread Christmas fragrances but also that from each one sold The Body Shop is donating to build schools in areas where they have Community Fair Trade Partners. So good if you might like a bit of a warm and fuzzy, giving-back feeling too!
Where to buy: The Body Shop (£12 – reduced from £17 online only)
Gift: Soap & Glory Once Upon a Lime Gift Set*
Perfect For: Pretty much anyone
I don’t know what it is about Soap & Glory, but I can’t get enough of it. I have products coming out of my ears and it’s the one brand that’s a constant feature in my shower – and I know so many others that feel the same. Which is why I wanted to include this set in the ideas post – it’s full of zingy-lime-goodness, smells amazing, comes in a big box – so always an interesting one to open (and easy to wrap) and I’m confident that the majority of people you could give this to would like it. Maybe not your gran, but others… yes.
